LAYERS & COLOR
As a mixed media artist I enjoy color and layers of texture by using acrylics, water colors, inks & dyes with traditional canvases, as well as, textiles, wood, and paper. I embellish my handmade papers with found objects, scraps of fiber and I even sew on the pieces.

RECYCLED PAPERS
Most of my handmade papers start with materials I have recycled: junk mail, packaging from butter and salads, signage from events, old sheet music, dictionary and book pages, old post cards from my past art show. I shop thrift stores for stacks of outdated holiday cards, faded index cards and books.
